Application

STEP 1

Identify the source of leakage. Cut or chase the leaking area into a U-shaped groove (approx. 20 mm deep and wide). Remove all loose material, dirt, and laitance. Ensure the surface is clean and damp (not waterlogged).

STEP 2

Mix Dr. Fixit Instant Leak Plug powder with clean water to form a stiff, dough-like consistenc. Mixing ratio: Approximately 0.25–0.30 liters of water per kg of powder. Prepare only small quantities that can be applied immediately (sets within 1–2 minutes).

STEP 3

Press the mixed material firmly into the prepared groove or leak point. Hold in place for 30–60 seconds until it hardens and stops water flow. For high-pressure leaks, apply in layers or use thumb pressure until set.

STEP 4

Keep the area moist for at least 15 minutes to ensure proper setting.
